Ventilation for Underground Rooms and Cellars

TLDR

Turn the confined space storeroom — modern dungeon — into useable inhabitable space curtesy of ventilation/filtration and heat capture.

A damp space beneath street level, a sometimes storage space for paints, solvents and half used cleaning products... sounds like a job for ventilation. To turn that basement no go zone into fresh air wonderland we need to set up some air filtration and ventilation.

A centralised ducted system is the way to go for a cellar or underground room. Good ventilation on the sub ground floor has benefits such as temperature stabilisation, humidity control (preventing condensation/mould) and generally making what is often seen as a dungeon a nice place to inhabit once again.

Wine cellars better in a controlled temperature / climate a touch of heat recovery and the natural geothermal mass underground might soon make this the most popular room in the house with fresh air and a perfect stable temperature.
